Только когда во мне затвердел писатель, я столкнулся с наличием в себе самом идеологии. Быть антикоммунистом — идея, но не идеология, поскольку отсутствует процесс созидания. Но этот процесс (не зря я увлекался историей, философией и литературой) мог вести меня только к одной цели: возрождению России, все остальное для меня не вытекало естественно из антикоммунизма.
Культуры древних Греции и Рима были, казалось, полностью уничтожены христианами к 529 году, когда Юстиниан закрыл в Афинах Платоновскую академию... Тогда вся Европа погрузилась в регресс невиданной силы. Почти все достижения (технологические, политические и культурные) Афин и Рима были христианами уничтожены — и забыты. Однако через девять веков в Италии поумневшие христиане начали присваивать все греческое и римское, что еще могло быть найдено и использовано: только благодаря этому возвращению-возрождению христианская цивилизация поднялась выше всех других и стала хозяйкой планеты... и продолжает ею оставаться.
Раз так, решил я, то почему всего через один век (не девять веков) после своей гибели от рук коммунистов-интернационалистов подобное не может произойти с Россией? Почему она не может возродиться и вернуться в свою цивилизацию, христианскую? Русский язык, порядочно искалеченный, все же остался, как и часть русской культуры, пусть больше в эмиграции, чем в СССР. Живы еще некоторые обычаи, и есть еще люди, помнящие русский мир, угробленный коммунистами... Во всяком случае, от трупа России осталось куда больше, чем от эллинов и римлян, когда в Европе началось Возрождение.
Но жителям Италии ХІV века уже давно не нужно было ничего разрушать, только спасать прошлое, объединять его с христианскими ценностями и строить иное будущее, в то время как в СССР коммунисты продолжают разрушать остатки России и строить свой невероятно уродливый новый мир. Конечно, это так, сказал я себе, но ведь после поражения коммунистов никто не будет защищать марксистскую культуру, — и она будет быстро сметена с лица земли. Действительно, говорил я себе патетически, кому она может быть нужна? Таким образом простая идея возрождения России дополнила во мне антикоммунизм, затем возглавила его и тем самым стала для меня полноценной идеологией. Так я стал русским националистом — и успокоился.
Ныне термин «национализм» значительно исказили, а тогда он означал — отдавать предпочтение не чужой, а своей стране и своей культуре во всем. Только шовинизм вбирает расизм, исключительность своего племени, чистоту крови и другие опасные процессы. Шовинизм и сопутствующий ему расизм особо опасен для процесса становления и развития нации. То обстоятельство, что в армии, а затем на гражданке я не встретил много единомышленников, меня не смущало, и без этого дел было невпроворот.
